huge music collection, particularly the classic rock era of 65-71. psychedelia, progressive, folk, blues, 50's rock n roll,30's&40's swing/jazz, reggae/ska, heavy rock, 70's punk/new wave, some classical. Dylan, hendrix, beatles, stones, doors, pink floyd, byrds, beach boys, the who, etc etc.

love movies too. de niro, pacino, gangster flicks, jack nicholson, gene hackman, clint eastwood. cuckoo's nest, godfather, goodfellas, shawshank redemption, schindler's list, braveheart, dances with wolves and hundreds of others. love comedy flicks, midnight run, blazing saddles, airplane etc etc.

authors among my favourites are richard dawkins, carl sagan, phillip k dick, robert anton wilson, sam harris, christopher hitchens, stephen king, charles dickens, mark twain, george orwell, wade davis, donna tartt.

fav tv shows are cheers, blackadder, mock the week, qi, fawlty towers, the wire, sopranos, spooks, roseanne, roots, still game and chewin the fat.
